# Install Node

Metadium provides the gmet source code and binary files through go-metadium's official GitHub. Metadium developers can easily run a Metadium node using the gmet binary by running the node client or by building the source code and installing it directly.

This document describes installing the Metadium client directly without using the gmet binary. The Metadium client is installed by downloading the source code and building it.
