System Requirements

The Metadium EN (End Node) needs to be capable of handling all block and transaction information on the Metadium blockchain. Therefore, it requires the following recommended and minimum hardware specifications:

Recommended specifications

• vCPU: 8 core

• RAM: 32 GB

• Storage: At least 1TB SSD

• OS: Linux-based operating system

Minimum specifications

• vCPU: 4 core

• RAM: 16 GB

• Storage: At least 1TB SSD

• OS: Linux-based operating system

Firewall Requirements

The Metadium EN node requires the following firewall settings to receive blocks from the chain network or propagate new transactions to the network:

The RPC port and WebSocket port are ports the dApp server or developers request using the respective EN node.
